Kern County is home to a vibrant and growing Middle Eastern community—entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, innovators, and professionals who contribute daily to the cultural and economic fabric of the region. Today marks a milestone for this community with the official launch of the Middle Eastern Chamber of Commerce (MECC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Middle Eastern businesses through connection, advocacy, and opportunity.

Vision

The vision behind MECC is simple yet powerful: to create a thriving ecosystem where Middle Eastern businesses feel supported, represented, and equipped to grow. Whether a business is just starting out or looking to expand, MECC provides the tools, resources, and community connections needed to succeed in an ever-evolving marketplace.

As a chamber, MECC will offer meaningful programs including business development assistance, professional workshops, networking mixers, cultural events, and access to market insights specific to the Middle Eastern community. Members will also benefit from increased visibility through directory listings, marketing support, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs across Kern County.

But beyond business, MECC represents something deeper—a unified voice and a place to belong. It stands as a bridge between cultures, helping preserve heritage while fostering new relationships that strengthen the entire local economy. By supporting one another and working together, the Middle Eastern business community can build a stronger, more prosperous future for generations to come.

We invite entrepreneurs, partners, and supporters to join us in shaping this exciting chapter.

The launch of MECC marks the beginning of a new era—one where Middle Eastern businesses are not only part of the conversation, but at the center of building a dynamic and connected business landscape in Kern County.
